Robert McCrum

Robert McCrum is a writer, journalist, and a well-known radio host. BBC Radio FourHe is also a distinguished veteran of the British literary world. He was editor-in-chief of Faber & Faberwhere he edited authors such as Milan Kundera, Mario Vargas Llosa, and Marilynne Robinson, and discovered authors such as Peter Carey, winner of the Booker, or Kazuo Ishiguro, who would go on to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. He is the great-grandson of William McCrum, the inventor of the penalty kick.
