Cristiana Bastos

Cristiana Bastos (PhD CUNY 1996) é antropóloga e o seu trabalho interseta as disciplinas de antropologia, história e estudos sociais de ciência, tecnologia e medicina. É investigadora do quadro do Instituto de Ciências Sociais, onde coordena o Grupo de Investigação Identidades, Culturas, Vulnerabilidades. Em projetos anteriores investigou dinâmicas de população, mobilidades transnacionais, biopolíticas coloniais, medicina e império, história social da saúde e bem-estar, com pesquisa de campo e arquivo em Portugal, Brasil, Estados Unidos, India e Moçambique. Atualmente coordena o projeto The Colour of Labour (ERC AdG 695573), onde está diretamente envolvida nas linhas de pesquisa sobre a Guiana, Hawaii, Nova Inglaterra e Angola.
