Flint And Mirror

John Crowley was born in Presque Isle, Maine in 1942. He grew up in Vermont, USA, where he attended high school and university. He moved to New York after completing his university studies to make films, eventually working in documentary directing. He published his first novel, The Deep, in 1975, and his 15th work of fiction, Endless Things, in 2007. Since 1993 he has taught creative writing at Yale University. In 1992, he received the Literature Prize from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters.
