Ian Livingstone

Ian Livingstone foi designer de jogos, escritor, empresário e um dos pais da indústria de jogos do Reino Unido. Juntamente com Steve Jackson, fundou a Games Workshop, em 1975, lançando Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, White Dwarf, Citadel Miniatures e a cadeia de lojas Games Workshop. O seu livro Dice Men, publicado em 2022, é uma memória pessoal sobre a origem da Games Workshop.
Em 1982, escreveu O Feiticeiro da Montanha de Fogo, com Steve Jackson, o primeiro livro-jogo da série Fighting Fantasy (Aventuras Fantásticas), que vendeu 21 milhões de exemplares em todo o mundo e foi traduzido para 30 línguas. Posteriormente, escreveu mais 18 livros da mesma série, incluindo A Masmorra Infernal e A Cidade dos Ladrões. A coleção celebrou o seu 40.º aniversário em 2022 e foi relançada em Portugal, pela Porto Editora, em 2025.
