Culture Of Silence

The intent of these essays is to explore the notion of a "culture of silence" through the basis of the architectural culture of modern Finland. Although the explorations of The Culture of Silence are here rooted in Finnish architectural culture, the editors have extended the theme to embrace aspects of silence within the architecture of other cultures as well.
