Ned Bunn wasn't a popular member of the community of Enderby, a sleepy village in Leicestershire. But when he is murdered on the doorstep of his own shop there's a terrible outcry. Littlejohn of Scotland Yard investigates the case and finds there are some startling revelations about Bunn and his family, before the murderer is finally tracked down.
