Black Anxiety, White Guilt And The Politics Of Status Frustration

This is a survey of contemporary race-relations in the USA. The authors assess the part played by status struggles and anxieties in intergroup relations. They assert that the socio-economic advancement for blacks combine with frustration to create a sense of estrangement from whites.
