Beyond Charity

Too often in the past refugees have been perceived as a problem of international charity. This book argues that refugee problems are political issues, and must be treated as such. It presents an overview of refugee problems and assistance programs since World War II, outlining reforms to address the refugee crisis and its underlying causes.
