For the last half of the 20th century, China's borders were closed and, the only images that came out of the country were either propaganda or coverage of a tragic news event. This book includes images of the construction of major projects such as the Opera House, Grand National Theatre and Olympic Stadium - all part of a frenzied rebuilding.
