ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nuno Caravela
Nuno Caravela was born in Lisbon on August 1, 1968.
He attended the I.A.D.E and the AR.CO. Center for Art and Communication and began his career as an author and illustrator in 1992.
At the same time, he worked as a creative for six years in advertising agencies, he was for seven years the author and editing coordinator of the project «Global School – Tradition in the Classroom», aimed at the recovery of Traditional Portuguese Tales.
He has developed numerous projects in the area of children's literature, in partnership with some of the most renowned Portuguese publishers.
«With The Cave Band I intend, above all, to entertain and stimulate the imagination of the youngest, transporting them along the pages to a world of discoveries, where everything is possible. Where all the characters, each with their differences, limitations, defects and virtues, become friends who can be trusted and who we accompany on any adventure.»
