George Michael Claude André Dubai (Paris, October 7, 1919 – Aix-en-Provence, December 3, 1996) was a French historian, specializing in the Middle Ages.
He began his university career in Lyon in 1949, where he was a student and soon after completing his studies became an assistant professor, later becoming a professor at the University of Bonançoso, and also at Aix-en-Provence. He is a member of the French Academy and a professor at... Collège de France between 1970 and 1992. He was a specialist in medieval history, published more than 70 books and coordinated important collections, such as the History of Private Life.
