In this work, Hazo casts his eye upon a career devoted to poetry. Selecting works that are arranged loosely under the themes of love, family and aging, he presents the poems he has been most pleased or troubled by, and in this way begins a dialogue with scholars who may be interested in engaging in his work when his body of work is complete.
