David Satter

David Satter, historiador e jornalista, é um destacado analista da realidade russa desde o período soviético. Chegou a Moscovo em 1976 como correspondente do Financial Times. Foi expulso em 1982, tendo voltado à Rússia em 1990. Testemunhou o período de abertura política da perestroika e a deriva totalitária que se lhe seguiu. Voltou a ser expulso em 2013. É autor de vários livros e de um documentário sobre o colapso da URSS.
