In each challenge, the player must position the magnetic matches as indicated and, from this initial configuration, find the correct solution. Some challenges may include overlapping shapes, requiring attention to detail and good visual perception—for example, identifying "hidden" squares formed by overlapping matches. To facilitate portable play, there are also addition (+) and multiplication (×) symbols represented by two joined matches. In certain challenges, it may be necessary to modify these symbols (for example, transforming a "+" into a "-"), separating the pieces to obtain the correct solution.
