011 - Uma Aventura com Therion Toys and Games

011 is an adventure game set in a steampunk version of the real world. The events take place in Turin, the quintessential "magical" city. Eight mysterious characters come from the North to prevent the awakening of the Wolf God, but only one of them, the Chosen One, has the true power to do so. By alternately controlling the eight characters, players must discover who the Chosen One is. Only the Chosen One can compose the mystical melody that will return the powerful Fenrir to his slumber. They also have to find the Organ of Eternity, a unique instrument capable of withstanding the magnificence of the enchanted melody. The game makes use of a novel "mechanical" action selection system and intrigues players with a paradox: all eight characters work together to stop Ragnarök, but only one player can achieve victory! To further complicate matters, midway through the game one of the characters will become the Incarnation of Fenrir and then attempt to initiate Ragnarök! Each of the eight characters is imbued with aspects of the Symphonic Metal band, Therion. The game is officially supported by the band, and both the group's leader, Christofer Johnsson, and other band members were involved in the creation and development of the game. The game was released in Essen 2011.
