Musashi arrives on Dreamcast in an action-adventure set in a Japan invaded by unknown ninja forces. After defeating his rival Kojiro, he heads towards Kyoto, but the city is attacked and Otsu is kidnapped, beginning a new mission.

Take on the role of Musashi — or Suzume — and traverse stages filled with enemies and obstacles, using combat skills and tools like kunai and grappling hooks to progress.
