The complete remake of the second volume in the FATAL FRAME (PROJECT ZERO) series, FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO II: Crimson Butterfly, brings back this iconic Japanese horror experience with a deep and modern overhaul.

The story follows two twin sisters who become lost in an abandoned village haunted by vengeful spirits. Armed with the Camera Obscura—a device capable of capturing and sealing supernatural entities—they confront ghostly presences while uncovering the dark secrets surrounding the mysterious village.

A visually stunning remake.
Graphics, sound, and controls were recreated from scratch. The textures of the characters, including skin and clothing, were meticulously crafted, and Minakami Village was rebuilt with special attention to lighting and shadows, creating a dense and unsettling atmosphere.

3D audio enhances the feeling of the spirits' presence, making each moment of exploration more immersive and unsettling. New areas and side stories have also been added, deepening the narrative experience.

Enhanced combat with Camera Obscura
The core mechanics remain true to the original: using the Camera Obscura to confront and seal spirits. This version introduces new features such as Focus, Zoom, and Filter Switching, adding greater strategic depth to combat and exploration.

The different Filters offer distinct capabilities, allowing you to adapt your approach to the various types of spirits and making it easier to solve the mysteries of the cursed village.
