PORTUGAL DOS PEQUENITOS – a must-see park, halfway between all destinations.

Portugal dos Pequenitos, located in Coimbra, is a unique educational and recreational park, both in Portugal and abroad. The park offers a journey of discovery through Portugal's most emblematic architectural heritage, whether monumental or traditional constructions from each region, and to encounter cultural representations from Portuguese-speaking African countries, Brazil, Macau, India, and Timor.

Recognized for the fascination and emotions it evokes in all ages, the park's uniqueness lies in the precision of its constructions, represented on a child's scale. "Here, everything is tiny for us – but big for the children – and everything is real" (Bissaya Barreto).

Taking as a reference the richness of the architectural and cultural heritage, the Educational Service provides guided tours, educational workshops and other activities aimed at children, families, schools and the general public.

Between May and October, the exhibition “Materials and Mastery” is on display, showcasing objects from the park's collection, original drawings by architect Cassiano Branco, and materials and mastery employed in its construction. Watercolors by Ana Frois and photographs complete this interesting exhibition.
