Bissaya Barreto House-Museum - a house with history.

The Bissaya Barreto House-Museum in Coimbra was the residence of Bissaya Barreto (1886-1974). A surgeon and professor of medicine, he was responsible for creating an extraordinary social work in the center of the country, most notably the Portugal dos Pequenitos (Portugal in Miniature).

In addition to the revivalist building, constructed in the 1920s, and the garden, visitors can explore the art collection, which includes furniture, porcelain, earthenware, paintings, sculptures, and tiles.
