The program included in Cistermúsica – Alcobaça Music Festival, consists of three works for orchestra and saxophone quartet. The Maat Saxophone Quartet, a promising ensemble that has garnered excellent reviews in some of Europe's most prestigious concert halls, accompanies the BSA in Maatwerk by Johan de Meij, Ciudades by Guillermo Lago and Correntes by Carlos Filipe Cruz. The first of these works will premiere on May 14th at the Teatro Roermond (Netherlands), being the third work premiered in this performance.
