Yoani Sánchez

Yoani Sánchez nasceu em Havana em 1975. Licenciou-se em Filologia Hispânica e trabalha como webmaster e jornalista do portal Desdecuba.com e, às escondidas, como guia turística em Havana. Em Abril de 2007 inaugurou o blogue Generación Y que suscitou um enorme interesse em todo o mundo. No ano seguinte ganhou o prémio Ortega y Gasset concedido pelo jornal El País para o jornalismo digital. Mantém uma rubrica no Internazionale. Yoani Sánchez foi incluída pela Time na lista das 100 pessoas mais influentes de 2008, com Baral Obama, o Dalai Lama e Rupert Murdoch.
