Yan Schenkel é uma designer e crocheteira argentina. Formada em Desenho Industrial e Gráfi co, começou a crochetar enquanto esperava seu fi lho na saída do colégio. Em 2009, ela começou a mesclar seus desenhos com a técnica tridimensional e assim nasceu a banda Pica Pau, hoje conhecida no mundo inteiro. Além de desenhar seus bonecos, Yan colabora com todos os tipos de projetos, desde a ilustração de livros infantis até a criação de um anúncio de crochê em stopmotion. Colabora em publicações como Mollie Makes, The Sewing Box y Simply Crochet.
