Winston Graham
Winston Graham was born in England in 1908 and moved to Cornwall at the age of seventeen.
He started writing when he was young and never stopped.
In 1963 he was appointed a Knight of the Order of the British Empire.
He wrote more than thirty novels – translated into more than twenty languages – of which the Poldark saga stands out.
Graham died in 2003, at the age of 95.
