Wang Suoying é natural de Shanghai e Mestre em Linguística pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa. É actualmente leitora de Chinês na Universidade de Aveiro, responsável pelo Curso de Língua e Cultura Chinesa tanto na Delegação Económica e Comercial de Macau como no Centro Científico e Cultural de Macau e coordenadora da cadeira de Língua e Cultura Chinesa na Escola Superior de Medicina Chinesa Dr. Pedro Choy (pólo da Universidade de Medicina Tradicional Chinesa de Chengdu, da China). Tem-se dedicado à tradução e investigação sobre as Línguas, Literaturas e Culturas da China e de Portugal.
