Vasco Saragoça nasceu em Lisboa em 1975. Aos vinte anos partiu para Paris, onde se licenciou em Filosofia e onde conheceu a sua mulher, de nacionalidade sueca. Doutorou-se em Filosofia na Sorbonne e viveu alguns anos em Estocolmo. Em 2010, publicou em França a sua primeira obra: La duperie de soi, um ensaio filosófico sobre a questão da irracionalidade. Manhã clara é o primeiro romance do autor, e inspira-se nas suas deambulações pela costa sudoeste do Alentejo e do Algarve.
