O padre Vasco Pinto de Magalhães nasceu em Lisboa, em 1941. Entrou na Companhia de Jesus em 1965. O seu percurso entrecruza a pastoral universitária, em Coimbra, Porto e Lisboa, o acompanhamento espiritual e a orientação de Exercícios Espirituais. Foi cofundador do Centro de Estudos de Bioética, tendo uma larga intervenção nesta área de reflexão e debate. É autor de numerosas obras de espiritualidade e formação cristã.
