Valter Carlos Cardim
Valter Carlos Cardim (Swami Gyanesh) studied bioenergetic and body therapies at various institutes. His work with crystals began in 1980 in São Paulo, the city where he learned the ancient techniques of the American Indians. Shortly after, he also received teachings from the Vedic tradition on the use of precious and semi-precious stones and their respective application in the fields of health and spirituality. In 1990, Valter Cardim founded the Brazilian Ayurvedic Association and, eleven years later, in Portugal, the Luso-Brazilian Association of Ayurveda and Associated Disciplines, which he directs to this day. He has participated in several television programs and published numerous articles in specialized magazines and newspapers, and is currently president of the European Federation of Yoga, Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda.
