Ursula Poznanski
Ursula Poznanski is Austrian and was born in Vienna (1968). After finishing high school, she enrolled in various courses and worked at a publishing house specializing in medical publications. After the meteoric success she achieved with her novels for young people, she dedicated herself exclusively to writing. She published her first children's book in 2003 and, in 2006, received the Vienna Children's and Young Adult Literature Prize. This was followed by several other prestigious awards, including the Jugendliteraturpreis (Germany's most important youth literature prize) in 2011 for her book ErebusThe rights to this book have been sold to more than 30 countries. Ursula Poznanski lives with her family south of Vienna.
