Tsering Paldron
Tsering Paldron has been a Buddhist for over 50 years and has been teaching since 1992. In 1984, he completed the traditional three-year retreat – a group retreat focused on meditation practice and the study of sacred Buddhist texts – in DordogneShe studied in France and received teachings from some of the great masters of Tibetan Buddhism. She gives seminars, lectures, and conferences in Portugal and several other countries. She is the author of three books on Buddhism: The Art of Life (Parchment, 2001) The Alchemy of Pain (Parchment, 2004) and The Habit of Happiness (Parchment, 2017). She was one of the founders of AMARA – Association for Dignity in Life and Death, which provides existential support to people with serious and terminal illnesses, and of Bodhicharya Portugal, an association dedicated to educational and cultural activities related to the teaching of Buddhism.
