Tove Jansson

Tove Jansson (1914-2001) é uma das artistas finlandesas mais conhecidas de todos os tempos e também a autora finlandesa mais lida internacionalmente. Criadora de muitos talentos, distinguiu-se como escritora, artista e cartoonista. É lembrada, sobretudo, como a criadora dos Mumin, cujos livros foram traduzidos para mais de 50 línguas. Tove Jansson foi também reconhecida pelos seus contos e romances, sendo uma autora celebrada também pelo facto de escrever para adultos e para crianças.
