Tom Burgis

British journalist and author bestsellerTom Burgis worked for sixteen years at the newspaper. Financial Times, where he was a correspondent in South America and Africa, and was also part of the newspaper's investigative journalism team. In 2023 he joined the newspaper The guardian, where he is an investigative correspondent journalist.
He is the author of the books The Plunder of Africa (ed. Vogais, 2015), winner of Overseas Press Club of Americaand Kleptopia: How Dirty Money Is Taking Over the World (ed. Vogais, 2021), chosen as the book of the year for publications. The Washington Post and The economist.
