Tina Vallès
I was born in Barcelona in 1976. Since I learned to write, I have never stopped telling stories, first for my parents and friends, then for readers and, since 2009, also, and above all, for my two daughters, Alba and Mar. I have published the anthologies of short stories for adults L’aeroplà del Raval (2006, a selection of texts from the blog of the same name), Un altre got d’absenta (2012) and El parèntesi més llarg (2013, Mercè Rodoreda Prize for short stories and narrative), as well as the short novel Maic (2011). And, for a younger and more discerning audience, I wrote El caganer més divertit del Nadal (2011), Petita història del Palau Gu¨ell (2011) and Totes les pors (2016). In addition to being a writer, I am also a translator and editor.
