Tina Nash vive na zona ocidental da Cornualha desde a infância. Está agora no início da casa dos trinta e é mãe de dois rapazes de 14 e 4 anos. Chamou a atenção do seu país através de reportagens acerca dos ferimentos horríveis que lhe foram infligidos pelo ex-parceiro, Shane Jenkin, que lhe tirou os olhos após um prolongado ataque de violência doméstica em abril de 2011. As suas experiências tornam-na uma excelente porta-voz das sobreviventes de violência doméstica.
