Thomas Halliday was born in Edinburgh in 1989. He graduated in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, obtained a master's degree in Paleobiology from the University of Bristol, and a doctorate from... University College LondonHe was awarded the Prize. David Dineley for the best thesis in Paleobiology at the University of Bristol, while his doctoral thesis won the John C. Marsden Medal. Linnaean Society of London for the best thesis in Biological Sciences in the United Kingdom. Outside of academia, he won the essay contest. Hugh Miller In 2018, an award for prose or poetry inspired by Scottish geological themes, for his piece. LandwardHe has been interviewed on BBC Radio 4 and regularly gives scientific lectures to laypeople.
