Theodore Sturgeon
Theodore Sturgeon was born on February 26, 1918, in New York and died on May 8, 1985, in Oregon. A pseudonym for Edward Hamilton Waldo, he lived in New York and Los Angeles and is the author of several books. The Theodore Sturgeon Award is given annually to the best science fiction short story.
