Teresa Calapez licenciou-se em Matemáticas Aplicadas, em 1986, pela Faculdade de Ciências de Lisboa. Concluiu o mestrado em Estatística e Investigação Operacional em 1991 pela mesma Faculdade e o doutoramento em Métodos Quantitativos, na especialidade de Análise Multivariada de Dados, pelo ISCTE-IUL, em 2004. Atualmente é professora auxiliar no ISCTE-IUL onde leciona e coordena várias unidades curriculares na área da Estatística e da Análise de Dados, nos diversos ciclos de ensino. É membro da Sociedade Portuguesa de Estatística, investigadora da BRU/UNIDE-IUL, Business Research Unit do ISCTE-IUL e colabora regularmente com o Dinâmia'CET-IUL.
