Teresa Adão is from Viseu. She made her good humor a life motto and put it at the service of her students, whom she helped build their own knowledge for forty years in Moimenta da Beira. As a result of this experience, she dedicated herself to humor, making it the focus of her scientific research, which resulted in a postgraduate degree in school management and administration, a master's degree in sociolinguistics, and a doctorate in language didactics. She won the Stories with Mathematics competition organized by ESEV-Instituto Politécnico de Viseu in two consecutive years (2010 and 2011). She is the author of... The Serious Side of Humor and Time to Exchange the Enchanting Stories, having also participated in anthologies with children's stories, where humor is always present.
