Tania Martuscelli é crítica de literatura e de arte e ocupa o cargo de Professora Auxiliar no Departamento de Espanhol e Português na Universidade do Colorado, em Boulder, nos Estados Unidos. Especializou-se nas áreas de literatura e cultura dos séculos XIX ao XXI em língua portuguesa. A sua investigação tem por cerne as vanguardas portuguesas e os estudos transatlânticos, sobretudo entre Portugal e o Brasil. Além dos seus livros Mário-Henrique Leiria Inédito e a Linhagem do Surrealismo em Portugal (2013) e (Des)Conexões entre Portugal e o Brasil – Séculos XIX e XX (2016), Martuscelli colabora com diversas revistas especializadas em arte e literatura no mundo, como Colóquio/Letras, Brasil/Brazil, Modernism/modernity e Portuguese Studies.
