Suzie Sheehy, nascida em 1984 na Austrália, é uma física, académica e comunicadora de ciência que divide o tempo entre os seus grupos de investigação na Universidade de Oxford (onde é bolseira de investigação universitária da Royal Society) e na Universidade de Melbourne (onde é professora). A sua investigação centra-se no desenvolvimento de novos aceleradores de partículas para aplicações futuras em áreas como a medicina e a energia. Conferencista experiente, tem escrito e apresentado programas em direto para dezenas de milhares de estudantes. Apresentou a série Impossible Engineering para o Discovery Channel e em 2018 proferiu a sua primeira TED no âmbito da TEDx Sydney, que mereceu mais de 1,9 milhões de visualizações.
