Susanne Strasser nasceu em 1976, na cidade de Erding, na Alemanha.
Estudou Comunicação e Design em Londres e Munique e tem hoje reconhecimento internacional pelo seu trabalho.
As suas obras já foram destacadas na Bienal de Ilustrações de Bratislava, tem um livro adaptado para cinema e outro galardoado com o distinto White Raven.
Atualmente, Susanne vive em Munique com o marido e os dois filhos.
