Columnista en las revistas Popular Patchwork y Sew, se convirtió en estrella de la primera serie de la BBC 2 The Great British Sewing Bee por su aproximación divertida y fresca al tema.
Ha recibido encargos para realizar quilts de muchas celebrities y es presentador habitual de Create y Craft TV.
