The Spice Girls were a British girl band that became a global phenomenon in the 1990s. Made up of five members – Victoria Beckham ("Posh Spice"), Melanie Brown ("Scary Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Melanie Chisholm ("Sporty Spice") and Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice") – the band has garnered millions of fans with their catchy songs and energetic performances. With hits like "Wannabe," "Spice Up Your Life," and "Say You'll Be There," the Spice Girls have become one of the biggest hits in pop music history, selling over 85 million records worldwide. Its cultural impact was so great that it gave rise to a phenomenon they called "Spice Mania". Even after the band's breakup in 2000, the Spice Girls remain a pop culture icon and an inspiration to generations of artists.
