Simone Tulumello

Investigador auxiliar em Geografia no Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa, onde é também presidente da Comissão de Ética. A sua investigação, à fronteira entre geografia humana, estudos urbanos e economia política, debruça-se em volta da questão da urbanização em contextos semiperiféricos: violência e segurança; política e políticas da habitação; financeirização e desenvolvimento desigual; imaginários urbanos. É autor de Fear, Space and Urban Planning: A Critical Perspective from Southern Europe (2017, Springer) e coautor de Urban Violence: Security, Imaginary, Atmosphere (com Andrea Pavoni; 2023, Lexington). Financiamento individual da Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (projeto HOPES – HOusing PErspectives and Struggles: PTDC/GES-URB/28826/2017; e CEECINST/00045/2021/CP2818/CT0002).
