Simin Daneshvar

Simin Daneshvar (Shiraz, 28 de abril de 1921 - Teerã, 8 de março de 2012) foi uma escritora e romancista iraniana com um papel preponderante no processo da emancipação feminina desse país. Suvashun, foi o primeiro romance escrito por uma mulher no Irão, a sua coleção de contos persas foi a primeira a ser publicada e Daneshvar's Playhouse foi o primeiro volume de histórias traduzido por uma mulher iraniana.
