Sherry Thomas

Sherry Thomas arrived in the United States at the age of thirteen. Within a year, with the help of her trusty English-Chinese dictionary, she was already reading 600-page historical novels. The vocabulary she gleaned from these stories, marked by an insatiable tone of passion, became very useful when she herself began writing novels.
Sherry holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Louisiana and a master's degree in Accounting from the University of Texas. She lives in central Texas with her husband and two children. When she's not writing, she enjoys reading, playing computer games with her children, and… reading some more.
The Forbidden Fruit It was chosen as the Best Novel of 2008 by the publication. Library Journal and chosen as a Top Pick and Fresh Pick by the magazine. Romantic Times and by the Fresh Fiction website, respectively. The author's debut novel, Private Arrangements, was considered one of the best books of 2008 by Publishers Weekly magazine.
