Descendente de emigrantes italianos, oriundos de Castel di Sangro e da Sicília, Sherie cedo revelou a sua veia artística. Começou a escrever em 1999, mas antes havia trabalhado como maquilhadora profissional e artesã, trabalhando o couro, o seu material de eleição, nas mais variadas manifestações artísticas.
Actualmente vive na Califórnia.
