Desde pequeno, gostava de criar mundos imaginários. Estudou Criação de Personagens Narrativas na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto e doutorou-se em Física na Universidade do Minho. Deixou a investigação para se dedicar à escrita, tendo vencido o Prémio Literário Pingo Doce, em 2015, com um conto sobre um caracol chamado Orlando. Mas antes de começar a escrever romances e literatura para os mais jovens, criou a sua personagem mais surpreendente: Nongens.
