Sebastião Medeiros da Silva é licenciado em Matemática pela Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras da USP. Obteve o título de mestre em Ciências pelo Instituto Tecnológico da Aeronáutica. É coautor do livro Matemática: para os cursos de economia, administração e ciências contábeis (2 volumes), publicado pelo GEN | Atlas.
