Sebastian Haffner

Sebastian Haffner nasceu em 1907, em Berlim, e formou-se em Direito. Emigrou em 1938 para Inglaterra, onde trabalhou como jornalista para o The Observer. Em 1954 regressou à Alemanha, começou a escrever para o Die Welt e mais tarde para a Stern. Haffner é autor de uma série de best-sellers históricos: "Churchill", "Anmerkungen zu Hitler", "De Bismarck a Hitler". Sebastian Haffner morreu em 1999.
