Scott Lynch (1978-) é um autor norte-americano de fantasia que se estreou com a obra As Mentiras de Locke Lamora, tornando-se uma das maiores revelações dos últimos anos. Natural do Wisconsin, teve uma série de empregos até se dedicar a tempo inteiro à escrita. Lynch é também bombeiro voluntário na sua terra natal.
